Super smarts start with experience.

It all started in our garage in Morley, WA, trading as AC Components, before we opened up our first warehouse in Bayswater later that year.

We started making flexible ducting with a thicker, stronger external jacket and an internal core with a smoother inner surface to reduce air resistance – increasing energy efficiency and minimising noise.

We launched the Advanced Air Control System.

To control the quality and efficiency of our components, we started making our own. Not soon after we developed a component that completely changed the game… the Exact Air Regulator. This offered a more precise airflow for better control and efficiency.

To offer individual room airflow control at an affordable price, we created Zone 6, a six-zone control with an electronic constant.

We released Gen III, our first 10-zone system delivering individual room temperature control with the convenience of a central controller.

We launched our Creature Comforts marketing campaign, featuring Claymation animals to communicate the benefits of our unique 10-zone system. With individual room temperature control, even a hippo and penguin could live comfortably together.

To raise the profile of the company we developed a marketing campaign featuring Australian icon, Barry Humphries. His personas – Dame Edna, Les Patterson and Barry himself were used to communicate the benefits of individual room temperature control.

We released MyAir, our flagship 10-zone ducted air-con system, offering individual room temperature control and smart control via the MyAir app.

MyAir released the first tablet driven air-con controller for additional control.

We released MyPlace in an effort to make smart home technology simple by turning existing hard-wired products like the garage door, air-con, lights and more, into smart products.

To communicate our ‘Australian Smarts’, the famous American comedian and tech-lover Arj Barker, becomes the face of MyPlace.

Off the back of three straight premiership seasons, we signed on as principal partner of the Penrith Panthers for three seasons.

This is where the super smarts come in. In September 2024 we launched MyPlaceIQ, a super smart air-conditioning system providing ultimate comfort, maximum efficiency and the ability to turn your home into a smart home system.
