Terms and Conditions for MyPlaceIQ Air with Garage Door – Retail Offer for MyPlace / MyPlaceIQ Product
These Terms and Conditions (“Agreement”) govern the sale, installation, and use of MyPlaceIQ Air smart control system with added garage door feature (“Product”). By purchasing and/or using the Product, you (“Customer”) agree to be bound by the terms outlined below.
1. Product & Offer Description
The MyPlaceIQ Air ‘super smart air conditioning’ system with Garage Door is a smart air control system and app; combined with a garage door mechanism designed to enhance the functionality and security of your home garage.
Limited to 100 customers only. Customers must have a compatible ducted air con system in their home to access the upgrade to MyPlaceIQ Air. Some ducted air systems may not be compatible and not eligible for the offer.
Offer open to members and supporters in greater metro Perth area, select regional areas of WA and metro Sydney, NSW only.
The purchase price of the Product is $795 + GST for West Coast Eagles fans and members referencing code MyPlaceWCE25.
Product Details
MyPlaceIQ Air includes: MyPlaceIQ Air and zone control smartphone app access, MyPlaceIQ Air Hub.
MyPlaceIQ Garage includes: MyPlaceIQ smartphone app access with garage feature, MyPlaceIQ garage door sensor installation.
The product is limited to the first 100 customers only at the discretion of MyPlace sales and technical teams.
2. Technical Specifications
Customer must already have an existing compatible ducted air conditioning system installed. The system must be an Advantage Air system within the last 9 years. Not all units will be compatible and MyPlace cannot guarantee suitability with every existing system.
Offer Inclusivity
The offer is for members and fans of West Coast Eagles Football club as per official communications, using the code, and is limited to 1 household per customer only. No duplicate offers are available.
Please refer to MyPlace offer code MyPlaceWCE25 as outlined in your email communications from West Coast Eagles official email, to be reference to the MyPlace sales team, entered at the enquiry form on the MyPlace website.
3. Price and Payment
• The total price for the MyPlaceIQ Air with Garage Door is $795 ex GST.
• Payment for the Product must be made in full at the time of purchase, via the accepted payment methods (credit card, debit card, or other specified methods).
• GST and other fees, if applicable, will be added to the total purchase price.
4. Delivery and Installation
• Delivery and installation of the Product will be completed within the agreed-upon timeframe, subject to availability and any delays caused by unforeseen circumstances.
• If the product requires installation, we will provide installation services as part of the price. The installation is intended for residential properties only.
• Residential areas in Australian suburbs and towns are subject to MyPlace team member availability, MyPlace reserves the right to refuse the offer for customers that may fall outside of a metro area or area where a MyPlace technician is unable to service. Please check with the MyPlace team to confirm we cover your area.
• The customer is responsible for providing the necessary access to their home and garage area to ensure installation is completed.
• Homes with faulty electrical work or other dangers that may be present could refuse installation, at the discretion of MyPlace technicians and sales team. MyPlace reserves the right to refuse installation in circumstances deemed dangerous or inappropriate to operate the equipment, machinery or human effort in such circumstances.
5. Warranty and Support
• The MyPlaceIQ Air with Garage Door comes with a 5-year limited warranty. The warranty covers defects in material or workmanship, but does not cover damage due to misuse, accidents, or improper installation. Please see the MyPlaceIQ warranty details for more information. This document is strictly not for warrantee purposes or in any way constitute a warranty form.
• Should the product fail within the warranty period, we will repair or replace the defective parts at no additional cost to you. Please refer to the warranty form.
• Our customer support team is available for any inquiries or technical support, with contact details provided in the product manual.
6. Usage and Safety
• The Product must be used in accordance with the user manual provided, which includes safety instructions and guidelines for operation.
• The Customer agrees not to tamper with or modify the Product, as this may void the warranty and pose a safety risk.
• The garage door system should not be used if it shows any signs of malfunction or damage. If you encounter any issues, please contact customer support immediately.
7. Returns and Refunds
• If the Product is defective or not as described, you may return it for a full refund within 30 days of purchase, provided it is in its original condition and packaging.
• Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to a defective product or error on our part.
• Customized or special-order products may not be eligible for a return or refund.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with the use or inability to use the Product, including but not limited to property damage, personal injury, or loss of data.
9. Privacy and Data Security
• By purchasing the Product, you consent to the collection and use of your personal information as outlined in our privacy policy outlined on our website.
• We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your personal and payment information during transactions.
10. Modification of Terms
We reserve the right to update, modify, or change these Terms and Conditions at any time. Customers will be notified of any changes through email or by posting an updated version on our website or social media. Changes will take effect immediately upon posting.
11. Governing Law
This Agreement is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state or country in which the customer resides. Any legal action or proceeding arising under or in connection with this Agreement shall be brought in the courts located in the jurisdiction where the Customer resides.
12. Acceptance of Terms
By completing the purchase of the MyPlaceIQ Air with Garage Door, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions
